Lunes App Privacy Policy

1. Data We Access

LUNES accesses the following types of data solely on your device to provide its core functionality:

  • Workout data — Activity type, duration, and date of workouts recorded through Apple Health (HealthKit).
  • Mindfulness session data — Duration and date of mindfulness and breathing sessions recorded through Apple Health (HealthKit).
  • Energy level — A self-reported energy rating (1–5 scale) that you log directly within the app.

This data is read from and stored using Apple HealthKit and your device’s local storage. LUNES does not transmit this data to any external server.

2. Data We Do Not Collect

LUNES does not collect, store, or process any of the following:

  • Names, email addresses, or any personal contact information
  • Account credentials or passwords
  • Location data
  • Device identifiers or advertising IDs
  • Usage analytics or behavioral tracking data
  • Financial or payment information

3. Apple HealthKit

LUNES uses Apple’s HealthKit framework to read workout and mindfulness data. In accordance with Apple’s HealthKit guidelines:

  • We only access HealthKit data with your explicit permission.
  • HealthKit data is never shared with third parties.
  • HealthKit data is not used for advertising, marketing, or data mining purposes.
  • HealthKit data is not sold to any party for any reason.
  • HealthKit data is stored only on your device and is not transferred to any external server or cloud service operated by us.

4. Third-Party Services

LUNES does not integrate any third-party analytics tools, advertising networks, SDKs, or tracking services. No data is shared with any third party.

5. Data Storage and Retention

All data accessed or created by LUNES resides locally on your device. Your workout and mindfulness data is managed by Apple HealthKit. Your energy level entries are stored in the app’s local storage on your device. We do not maintain any servers or databases that store your information.

If you delete the app, your energy level data stored within the app will be removed. Your HealthKit data will remain in Apple Health as it is managed independently by iOS.

6. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not share, sell, rent, or disclose your data to any third party. Since we do not collect or transmit any data, there is no data to share.

7. Children’s Privacy

LUNES is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since the app does not collect any personal data from any user, no special provisions for children’s data are necessary.

8. Your Rights

Because LUNES does not collect or store your personal data on any external server, traditional data subject rights (such as access, correction, or deletion requests) do not apply in the conventional sense. However, you always maintain full control over your data:

  • You can revoke HealthKit permissions at any time through your device’s Settings > Health > Data Access & Devices.
  • You can delete your energy level data by deleting the app.
  • You can manage or delete your HealthKit data directly through the Apple Health app.

9. Security

Your data is protected by the security measures built into iOS and Apple HealthKit, including on-device encryption. Since LUNES does not transmit data over the internet, there is no risk of data interception during transmission.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will update the «Effective date» at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
